cot for fort wilderness cabins?

They do not have cots or roll aways...but there is really NO room in the BR for one. There is a double bed and twin bunks in the bedroom....the Murphy bed in the LR is very comfortable...better than a sofa bed by far. There is enough room in the LR for an aero bed/airmattress if you want to bring one, but that would be about it....Bedrooms are small....barely enough room to get dressed...if you put a cot or airbed between the bed and the bunks, I do not think there would be eough room for people in the bunks to get to the bathroom (without stepping on the person in the air bed).

I agree. It's tight. Why do you think you'll need a rollaway?
When my family of 4 stayed in a FW cabin, I found the double bed much too small for the both of us (we're used to a king), so I slept on the Murphy bed in the Living room, and DH took the BR bed. If you needed more space, I guess you could maybe fit the air mattress in the LR, but it may be tight.

If you're looking for extra sleeping space and the person is small, the sofa would work. When DS was 17, he was supposed to have the Murphy bed. He said it was too soft and slept on the sofa for six nights. He is NOT SMALL (5'10, 190 pounds). However, when the Murphy bed is down, it is practically up against the sofa. Hope this helps.

We are trying to decide if 4 adults and two children will fit in the cabin. It does not sound like it. My mom and dad both need their own beds (back problems and they are older). It does not sound like there is any chance we could fit into one.
Just thought I'd try.
Thanks!

How about...
Grandma on the Murphy bed, kid #1 on the couch, Grandpa on the bottom bunk, kid #2 on the top bunk, mom and dad snuggled on the double (or is it a queen?) bed?

Just throwing that out there. One of my adult male friends slept in the bottom bunk and never said he was uncomfortable.

Have a good trip...the pic of your dd is precious!!

I don't think so, at least not comfortably. That double bed is mighty small, and right up against the wall. I know they say it'll hold 6, but I think that might be for 2 adults and 4 friendly children.

I'd try 2 connecting rooms at a moderate or (gulp!) value, or you can go for broke (yup, I'm broke) like we did and get a 2BR Villa at a DVC resort.

I have to disagree with the other posters about the double bed comfort level. My husband and I are super spoiled with a king size bed at home. At hotels, if we get a two bed room, we each take one bed. At the Cabins, we took the bed in the bedroom while our son and now wife took the Murphy bed while our now granddaughter took the bunk beds. My husband and I both commented on just how comfortable that double bed was. We slept like logs the whole week.

There is more than enough space in the living room for an air mattress. And I could easily sleep on the couch (but I'm 5' tall so that might be an issue).

I suppose that's true, the double bed would depend on your size. Me, I'm definitely NOT 5' tall, and I'm quite Pooh-sized, so a double is much too small for both me and my DH (who's no small man, either).
I guess I'd also be concerned with elderly parents with back problems fitting in a bunk with any comfort, as another poster suggested. Again, only you know what your family can tolerate. Same with sofa-sleeping.
