Costumes = entry via fast pass queue??

Before our last trip I'd read on here that if little ones had on favourite costumes eg tink, pirates, buzz you could join the fast pass queue. This was definitely the case on Peter Pan and potc (via exit).. We didn't have a buzz fan then so didn't have a costume!! Anyone know if this still works??

I was under the impression that this was an urban myth and whilst it could totally happen, it was all down to the CM's discretion with no set rules being in place...? I could be wrong though!

Hi we have had this at DLP and WDW at the POTC.
I herd people say they had it a buzz and Peter Pan and Snow White too.

My understanding is that if a child's in the costume they might be sprinkled with pixie dust and invited to *jump* the queue. Don't go expecting it then you won't be disappointed ..... and if it happens it'll be a lovely experience for your child (and you!)

Worth a shot then still as on our last trip we just went with our wee pirates or tink and were always allowed in via fast pass for Peter Pan or via exit for potc. Will squeeze buzz into case this time too

I have never experienced this and my daughters are always dressed up. I've been about 12 times and wearing an Alice dress never got fast entry to the maze or teacups, tinkerbell didn't work on the Peter Pan ride and Jessie didn't work on the buzz ride.

We experienced this when Rosebug was dressed as Snow White. We went to use her EAC card and the CM said it wasn't needed because it was "her" ride so she got to ride it whenever she wanted!
