Costumes at MNSSHP-

I have a question. My son is planning on being Luke Skywalker for the MNSSHP. I am assuming he would not be allowed to bring his lightsaber, correct?

He could. But I would discourage it.

Well- you can build a lightsaber at Mk and DHS so it is probably fine.

Lightsabers in the park are fine considering they sell them there, but will probably want it to be kept collapsed and not waved around (they tape the blades on the ones you build). If you just want the prop, some of them you can unscrew and take the blade out, so he could just have the handle handing from his belt.

This is true. He's 4 and can barely be trusted with his foam Thor hammer around the house...

They would allow it, I brought a large 4 ft broom last year. But it might get boring having to carry it for so long if its not one of the retractable ones.
