Costco water delivery?

Has anyone had water delivered lately from Costco? I know Costco was cancelling orders late last year. I was just wondering if this was still occurring. it is 2.00 cheaper to order water from Costco than Garden Grocers.

We were just there in early December and ordered a case of water from Costco. It was delivered perfectly well to the resort. However, when they called to tell me it was there, they informed me that there is a $10 charge for me to get it from them at the Contemporary/BLT.

So... I opted not to get it at all since we were only there for 3 days and had way too many snack credits anyway.

So if you are staying at the Contemporary or BLT, I advise against it. Otherwise, you should be fine.

We ordered water and soda from Office Depot to be delivered to VWL and OKW last October and there were no issues at either place.

BLT, BWV, and BCV have a resort delivery fee. Currently there isn't a fee at AKV, OKW, SSR, and VWL.

Does anyone know if they're charging this fee for personal deliveries (such as from Turner Drugs) rather than just for stuff that goes through shipping?

I should have been clearer. The fee is for UPS and FedEx type of deliveries and is assessed by "IKON" a Disney vendor who processes the shipments at resorts that have convention facilities.

It is inconsistent though - when we were at BWV for 6 days in July, we were called that there were packages waiting for us. I had ordered stuff from Disneyshopping.com for kids. We were out, so they then left another message that there would be a charge, and we had to pick up by 5:00 pm. We didn't get back in until 8:00, so when we called front desk, they delivered it, and there was no charge to our bill.

We were told by someone else that if front desk delivers it, there is no charge, but not sure how true this is? Despite this, we were not charged for our packages in July at BWV, so I'm not sure what happened with that?

Hello.

We ordered from Costco for our 12/4/09 trip to CSR. If I recall correctly, I placed my order and received confirmation within a few hours. After a couple of days I received an email that it was in processing, then a few days after that I received an email that the order had shipped. Costco's website only shows 3 days between ordering and delivery, but I do remember thinking the long processing time was a bit odd. Perhaps the notifications are not in synch with what has actually occurred. Regardless, I was glad that I didn't wait until the last minute, as I had read OP that the orders are sometimes rejected, and this left me some time to find an alternative.

I ordered Nestlé Waters Bottled Spring Water® 1/2-Liter 24ct Item # 117270 for $6.99, plus $0.46 tax. No shipping charges were incurred, nor receiving charges from CSR. In the shipping info, I addressed it to myself, with the resort name in the business line, resort address in address line 1, my ressie number and check in date in address line 2, etc. No problems getting it.

Next time, we will order from gardengrocer, due to the BLT $10 fee.
