Costco Travel preferred seating/Aladdin question

Looking at the Costco Travel package, it says you get "Preferred seating at select attractions in Disney’s California Adventure® Park".
What is this referring to? I thought Aladdin was gone/on its way out, is it being replaced with something new or is there something else already running?

Aladdin was set to close on August 15th with a new show to come next Spring but it has been 'extended', although we don't know until when.

We had preferred seating for Aladdin, Muppets in 3D, A Bug's Life and the Animation Academy.
