Costco Shoppers- a favor to ask...

We were at the Charlotte, NC Costco yesterday, and they had the princess costumes out already!!

I didn't see any at our COSTCO yet, but have seen many different ones at disneystore.com and also if you type in disney costumes, there is a bunch of selections to choose from. We had purchased my daughter a princess outfit from DL for this Halloween, but last year, I had ordered her a ballerina Snow White outfit from www.costumeman.com and it was delivered in less then a week.

Those of you who have seen them, which ones did they have? How do they compare to last year's?

Thanks!

We were at the Fairfax, VA Costco today & they had the princess costumes. Didn't look too closely but they seemed pretty cute w/nice detail. They were selling for $30 and had princess accessory kits for $15 - purse, shoes, crown & wand. I only saw Belle & Snow White for those but there may be others.

I was at Costco today, just north of Seattle, and they had Princess costumes. Because I have sons I didn't really look at them except for a drive-by sigh.

Just wanted to let you know that the Disney dresses are in the warehouse in Sterling Virginia. I also say the dress up shoes/wand/etc. in the toy section.

My wife work at Costco and they have them here in Oregon. The are the same quality as those at the TDS that will run you 39.50. Walmart ones I know would NOT be these ones. They have them every year for 5+ years now? Great Deal. Everything in Costco runs out of Washington State were the non-food distribution center is. So you should see them soon at all locations.

I have been waiting too for the dresses to come out at costco since my daugher wants to be Belle. I went ahead and bought the dress up set waiting for it to come out. I talked to a lady that said her daughter was 4 and the 4-6 was too big for her. My daugher is petite and I was worried it would be too big on her also. so we went over to the disney store to see their costumes and the Belle costume this year is simply beautiful! My daughter fell in love with it. The price was $34.50 for the dress. we bought it and she wore it right out of the store. :) the crown, shoes, wand go perfectly with it.

A very nice lady at my Costco checked for me and said they weren't even ordered at our store yet  so I am going to keep checking!

oh yeah! bump

DD picked out Sleeping Beauty at our Costco yesterday. They look to be the same quality as last year (heavy felt type material, netting on top of that, then silky material on the skirts). Hard to say about the detailing since I never saw the SB one last year. DD was Snow White last year and I liked hers better than this year's. There seems to be a bit more lace on them. Still very cute and @ $29.99 I don't mind the price since she will wear it out playing dress-up. The SB did come w/ a tiara (a pink and gold one) so I did not buy her the accessory set. She wears a 6X/7 so I bought the 7-10 and will have to hem length and sleeves.

mamalle,

If you don't mind, how old is your daughter? My daughter is almost 4 and about 42" tall, I believe. They looked to big for her (4/6). May be they are not so big once they have them on.

Saw them at the Costco in Glen Burnie, MD, yesterday! They were $30, and have Snow White, Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella! Very nice! They came in two sizes.... one was 7-10, the other 4-6.

Holly - HI neighbor. Are you in GB? I live in Annapolis. By the way your daughter are gorgeous!!! I can only imagine what cute princesses they will make!

My DD4 will be so happy to know they are in. Do they seem to have alot of them in the GB store. We usually go to the Arundel Mills store.

Still none in California, anyone else seen them? I am so glad to hear that there is a "pink" one as that is the one DD wants!

carrie- my daughter is 4 1/2 32 lbs and 42 inches- the one at costco was too big for her. I ended up buying her the 4/5 at the disney store. it fits her perfect.

they did have sleeping beauty, cinderella and snow white in all sizes at our costco

btw- I bought the set with slippers from costco and she wears a toddler 9 and the shoes are on the big side. no big deal but just thought I would add that.

Thanks for the response Mamalle. Now I am sure that my daughter would not fit the 4/6 at Costco either. We are keeping an eye out on the ones at the DS to see if they go on sale (even if just a little bit!). We will be at the World in Sept so we still have a few weeks. I did buy the crown and wand already and they are beautiful!

I was at a San Diego area Costco today and looked. None out yet. But lots of Christmas stuff out - SCARY!
I did see some Halloween candy mixes that were out so I bet the costumes will be out very soon. (I still can't get over the Christmas stuff out!)

They have them in Winston Salem, NC! They are so nice!! Just a little too big for my 3yo at this time!

Saw them at the Costco in Glen Burnie, MD, yesterday! They were $30, and have Snow White, Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella! Very nice! They came in two sizes.... one was 7-10, the other 4-6.
HollyJoy- I was at Costco in GB yesterdat too! I saw the dresses - very nice. (I am the OP who was looking for them in the first place) Your girls are so pretty!!! Really striking.
As for the dresses- They are a little different than last year- I think they are heavier and a little more fancy/formal than those at TDS.

Yes- there are lots and lots of dresses at Glen Burnie.
