Costco party food suggestions?

We've been Costco shoppers for some time, but we don't buy food there because we don't need the mega quantities they package it in(even though much of it looks delicious).

We're having a group of about 20 people in for a casual open house, and thought we'd finally pick up some of the party trays. Any suggestions on which ones are best? The group will be about 3/4 adults, 1/4 kids. It's hotter than the gates of hell right now so I don't think we need too many warm/hot items (maybe make a queso dip or something).

TIA:)

Their cilantro lime shrimp is very good. I also like their spinach salad with egg, bacon, etc. (both located in the fresh section near the meat)

They do have wrap sandwich trays that look pretty good, but I never had them.

I absolutely love their spinach and artichoke dip. I also get their tortilla chips to go with it. Perfect appetizer.

They also have cheese trays, wing trays, salads (the ceasar is wonderful), roll up sandwich trays, shrimp trays, etc.

Very few things I've found at Costco that aren't top quality.

Thanks for the replies, this is def. the kind of input I'm seeking. Is the spinach/artichoke dip something you warm up, or is it served cold? I think I may have had that dip served both ways. Thanks again!:)

I second their spinach and artichoke dip! Yum! We also like their chicken salad in the deli. We like it served on the pretzel rolls.

These are on our party foods list from Costco:
roasted pepper hummus
big bag of pretzel crisps
platter of cold cut sandwich roll-ups
Mango Peach Salsa

Their turkey roll ups are delicious. You really cannot go wrong with their party food, everything I've ever had is great.

Another tasty appetizer idea is to take a bottle of their roasted raspberry chipotle sauce and pour some over softened cream cheese. Serve it with crackers. It's so good.

I know you can never go wrong with cream cheese.:) Sounds delicious!

DW and I have always admired the roll-ups at Costco, but as I said earlier, with just two of us it's just too much(quantity). However, I wouldn't mind having a few leftover for the next day.:)

They sell a broccoli salad with an Asian dressing and chow mein noodles. May have cashews in it. Delicious!

I like their veggie tray, with dip, for $10. Really an excellent value and saves you a LOT of time compared to doing it yourself. Their fruit bowls are also good. Both are a nice thing to have for those guests who are looking for healthier options. :)

In addition to the yummy things listed above, I love their cheesecake. It's huge for $12.99 and so easy. Sugar up berries or just set out caramel and hot fudge sauce to drizzle on top.

for a warm dish I love their 3 pound bad of Kirkland meatballs. Best I have ever found.
Also love their mango salsa, and hummus.

Good to know. I was looking at that cheesecake this past weekend, as well as the carrot cake. But talked myself out of it! LOL! Next time I have company I am going to try the cheesecake out.

The croissant sandwich trio platter is great. Ham, roast beef, and turkey topped with cheese and lettuce and two spreads (fancy mayo and mustard) on the side. They are cut into three pieces each so they are party friendly. You can also get all the same kind of sandwich if you like.

My Costco sells a smaller size tray of the roll-ups in addition to the big tray. Even if it's too many for the 2 of you for 1 meal, they keep well and would be great for lunches.
