Costco Park Hopper

Well I bit the bullet and made our park reservations yesterday with the Costco cards...I was going to add a 1 day/1park ticket to the beginning but the tickets went up 60.00 since Friday!!! It is nuts!

For December they did...I even cleared my cookies and search thinking that may have caused it (does with airline tickets!), but nope 180.00 for a 1 day/1 park ticket.

Has anyone used these more than 13 days apart? It allowed me to make reservations 2 months apart, but I want to make sure we can actually use them like that. If we needed to use them within two weeks we can, but it would need to be around the second date in that case. I just want to make sure I can use the other days before I start the clock ticking.

I went on July 19.

And again on August 22.

I haven’t made my reservation yet for the 3rd day, but plan to within the next month or so.

Thank you!!! My mom read that most multi-day tickets have the time limit and freaked out, which scared me a little. This is sooo helpful! So glad I have the DISBoards where people are in the know and help you out!

Most multi day tickets do infact need to be used within 13 days after first use. The Costco tickets are the exception to this rule

Hey all, Just wanted to see if anyone has any clever ways to use/combine the dining cards when you have multiples? Or is handing the server at Storytellers 6 $30 cards the only way to do it? Has anyone used them on mobile orders?

We were just there this week and handed 3 dining cards to our server and everything was perfectly fine. I looked into combining them when we first got them and as far as I could tell it wasn’t possible.

Yes, you can use them on mobile orders! We used them all through mobile ordering. You can't combine them, as far as I could tell.

Thanks! I will probaly hang on to 2 or 3 then for mobile ordering and then only make the server process 3 plus my other DGC.

If it is anything like a regular gift card, it is kind of a pain for mobile ordering. You can't store them in your phone. When you mobile order, you have to select an alternate payment method and then enter in the number.

Yeah Im happy they at least allow scanning now. Makes it a tad easier.

I used our 4 Costco dining GCs at BB. I just put them all in the folio, along with my CC and told the server to run the GCs first and put any remainder on my CC. Super easy. I considered using them for mobile orders throughout the trip, but I decided that would be labor intensive. Since I knew we would spend more than $120 for the four of us at BB, I just saved them until then and used them all at once.
