Costco Park Hopper

Think we might've picked up just about the last couple of Costco tickets in our city yesterday. Found out our young-adult niece has never been to Disneyland (not sure how we missed that info before) and decided we needed to rectify the situation asap. We told her we would take her on our next trip this fall and she is super thrilled to finally go. We already had a few of the Costco tickets but wasn't sure if they were still in stock in our area. Of the 3 Costco's within driving distance only 1 showed availability still so I hotfooted it over this morning and bought 2 more. Looked again just now and all of them show out of stock so we just barely made it! Can't wait to take her and see the park through the eyes of someone who has never been.

It’s simple. Everyone knows that summer is super busy so they wait for end of July/early August as kids go back to school so it won’t be busy. 😜
That seems to be the way it is now. Everyone is trying to avoid crowds , so they avoid the "busy" times of the year making them have lighter crowds and in turn the typically slower times of the year are now much more busy.

Just finished a chat with Disney castmember, I want to add a 1 day 1 park ticket to my Costco ones, sounds like it will be easy. I am hoping to see Fantasmic in December....fingers crossed

F! In December is the same show as the rest of the year. Although a Holiday-themed F! Would be pretty cool.

How can you see availability online? I've been trying to look but nothing ever comes up. Even when I've seen people say they are in stock at XXX store.

Did they give you a price for adding a day? Did they tell you to do it at the ticket window or in the app?

She said I could do it on the site, I think it was 105 for a 1 day 1 park ticket...now if I can get my niece to definitely say yes, otherwise I am swallowing those tickets!>:(

Do you have the Costco app? If not get the app, then when you launch it there will be a menu along the bottom that has "Explore", "Shop", "Warehouse", etc. Click on the Warehouse icon and that will bring up a warehouse page. Should show your local warehouse but if not you can click "Change" to set the correct one for your area (or wherever you want to search). Click "Search Warehouse Inventory" and type in Disneyland and hit enter. Right now that brings up four Disney products but not the tickets for me as they are now sold out here. When they were in stock the tickets would show up in that search and it said "In Stock at xxx Location". If you want to see if it works you can try the Pocatello, Idaho (83201 zip) warehouse - as of today it shows in stock there still.

A friend just text me asking if I got my tickets yet...she bought hers for a trip in Sept, hasn't activated them yet and now can't go! I told her to talk to Costco and see if they can refund her.

She can ask, but also shouldn't get her hopes up. Costco still has a great return policy, but they specifically exclude gift cards from that. They do not offer refunds for them. But since they're not activated, luckily she can still always try and find someone who might want them.

Good idea!

Is there any way for me, an East Coaster, to buy these online?

Unfortunately, they have only had them on sale online one day and that was July 4th, assumingly because the warehouses were closed this day. It is unlikely they will do it again, especially now that they are out of stock in many locations.
