Costco Park Hopper

They have been selling really fast where I live in Arizona. I just spoke to the guy who scans the cards in at the front door and he said they sold one pallet of them last week and Disney immediately sent them another pallet. He said each pallet was 90 thousand dollars in tickets. Disney would make a lot more money if they just made their ticket prices more reasonable.

Interesting. I always assumed they re-used the same cards. Creating single use cardboard cards seems like a colossal waste.

Ha ha ha. I'm assuming that the Costco workers are just putting the collected cardboard cards back on the floor once they get the latest batch of 200 tickets sent to them by Disney.

Well Washington has tons of stock still. My warehouses, Lacey and Tumwater have had them consistently. I keep checking a few times a week and have only seen them out of stock once. The surrounding warehouses have them consistently too. It's too bad they aren't available online for people in the areas who aren't stocking them.

We go to Costco about once a week and every time I got I see the cardboard adverts on the floor. (Salem, OR).

Does Costco allow returns lol? I'm supposed to go on a cruise next Friday, but there's the possibility that it's at capacity. My situation is weird because my daughter is crew on the ship, and I'm her guest, but only if the lifeboat max has not been reached, which I won't know until after 3pm that day. I'm already going to VDH after the cruise, but i'm making a contingency plan, and wouldn't mind a couple more days. Being from Florida I go to WDW often, so this is a treat for me.

It says on the Costco page item is nonrefundable. That’s generally their policy for any type of gift card too.

If we are staying onsite at GCH, will we still just make our park reservations through the "resort bucket"? I was not sure if these have a limited park reservations bucket, like some of the other special tickets that DLR has sold in the last year or so? I looked at all of the fine print on the Costco website, and it says "Theme park reservations are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. " I feel like this differs from the wording for the 70th Anniversary tickets directly from Disney, which state "Theme park reservations for these offer tickets are limited in number and subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer as determined by Disney, applicable blockout dates and theme park capacity. Reservation availability for these offer tickets is not guaranteed for any date and reservations may be difficult to get for any particular date, especially as the ticket expiration date approaches. "

So, I am hoping that there are no reservations issues, as we are going Labor Day weekend.

But would not the value of the ticket be maintained to use against a future ticket purchase of equal or greater value, just like any expired park ticket? I am not sure how these special tickets work, so that my not be true for these.

I assume they, like all other tickets (other than special events like Oogie Boogie), would retain their value and could be applied to the purchase of a tickets in the future.

I haven’t seen anything about anyone adding a day but in general you’ll lose any savings as they apply what you paid to the cost of the new ticket.

Also, each of my tickets (I ordered 4 in one order) were shipped 2 day air, separately! Seems super inefficient and expensive for Costco to pay for each ticket to be shipped in a separate 2 day mailer. Two of mine arrived today (in separate envelopes), and I am still waiting on the other two.
