What date do I have to take my trip by for the AP's they are currently selling at Costco? I thought I read it was December sometime. If so, when will they have ones for 2010? Or do they not always carry them? TIA!

The ones we just got (and I think the ones that are still out, although I am not 100% sure) have to be activated by October 31.

Are there new ones out?

If they are the ones from before Aug. 23rd, they have to be activated by Oct. 31.

The promotion ended Aug 23 and the pass vouchers were supposedly pulled after that. They haven't yet announced a new promotion though there have been rumors of a new one coming up. There is one for SoCal residents only that just started, but it isn't an annual pass. It gives the person a certain number of days in the parks to be used within a year or something like that, and the number is not very big, like 4-6. I guess it's like a hopper except that you have a whole year to use up the days.

Thanks! I'll have to keep my ears open and tell my sis if a SoCal one comes up. She lives in the Santa Barbara area, and would never get the annual pass, but I want her to meet us there on one of our trips. If she could get a bargain she'd be more likely to do it. Wish they'd do something like that for non SoCal residents, even if it costs more. We are in CA, just not SoCal, and I can see us taking 2 separate, 2 or 3 day trips a year. Not quite enough to warrant an AP if that second trip isn't for sure. I'm kicking myself for not getting the Costco AP this summer, because we went in July and already have a January trip booked! I thought I'd get my fix and be done with DLR for a few years, but I can't stop thinking about going back.
