Costco Disney tickets?

I was at Costco and they have 4 day park hoppers for cheap, but it's only valid for CA residents only. Has anyone bought these tickets and used them not being a CA resident? I have used tickets before from a family member who lives in CA but she had to show ID when buying the tickets and nothing there after at the gates. On the Costco tickets it does say must show ID so Im wondering where? At the gates everytime you check in? I can't tell in the package if they were actual tckets or vouchers to reedem showing ID.

These tickets are good only for SoCal residents. Too bad us NorCal peeps don't get a break. What's up with that? Anybody know?

As long as you have one socal resident in your party, you're good to go.

Nobody knows, but yes, us Nor Cals don't get a break...makes no sense since all of FL gets a deal on WDW tickets.....

I am a So CAL resident and bought the tickets last September. I used them all 4 times before upgrading in January (and they started my annual pass from January instead of September..YEAH!) and not a single time was I EVER asked to show that I was a resident. Nor did they ever make me sign my cards. The ticket takers were always too busy and wanted to keep the line moving.
