Costco and water delivery

Did you look at WeGoShop.com? They deliver too and I don't know what their minimum order is. We were very happy with them last time we came.

We just ordered from Costco and they charge a 5% surcharge if your not a member, I ordered 4 cases and the bill came to $26. The brand was Zephryhills. My only problem was they forgot to ship it so I called and they rushed it out but still came 2 days late so allow more than 2-3 business days for delivery. I was lucky to find a family just checking in and gave them a whole case. If you are staying at a convention hotel expect a $5 per package charge. I have heard the Hess station has cases of water for $5, that is what I am going to do next time.

Don't forget to add in the new $10 fee Disney is now charging for things shipped to them.

We are staying at FW Cabins and having garden grocer deliver...Are all disney resorts charging $10 for shipped items???

Thanks for the tips here. I think I am just going to go with Hess for our May trip to BWV. I think we can walk there. I really don't need a lot of food since we will have the QSDP. We re notorious for purchasing way too much food at our timeshare and either throwing it away or giving it away. I think I will try to make the most of the dining plan and find some good choices for snacks that we can use as breakfasts etc. We are also going to be doing 2 TS meals that we will pay OOP for so that is two extra CS meals that we can have. Thanks again for letting me know the price of the H2O at Hess. Actually, I am going in October and staying off property. I might make a stop there and do a small list to see how much things are. If anyone wants to know the prices of something there let me know and I will be glad to look it up for you and post here. Thanks again to everyone!

Disney isn't charging a fee for things shipped to them -- the convention resorts have a 3rd party company that handles the packages that charges the fees, so if you're not at a convention resort where you'll be using the 3rd party service, there is no fee.

Other than CSR what other resorts are considered convention resorts?

I believe the convention resorts (which charge a fee if you ship a package there) are:
- Boardwalk
- Yacht & Beach Clubs
- Contemporary
- Coronado Springs

So there is no fee to have something delivered to Pop Century? And, if I send something vis USPS will that be okay?

I just placed an order for 2 cases of water and 1 case of soda from Office Depot to be delivered to Wilderness Lodge. I will update on how it works.

I also ordered a case of water and a case of soda to be delivered to OKW. My IL's are staying there the same week.

The Office Depot site shows both orders as delivered.
$20.88 for 1 case of soda ($13.39) and 1 case of water ($7.49)
$28.37 for 1 case of soda and 2 cases of water

No tax or shipping on either order.

We did this in March and it worked like a charm. I was not a member, at the time, of Costco, but that did not matter. I ordered on line on a Thursday for our Monday arrival at the Poly. The case of water was waiting for us in the room when we checked in. The brand was Zephryhills. I would do this again.

What anyone neglets to tell you is that , Yes you can have water delivered to the resort or anything else for that matter, BUT.... Disney charges you $10 handling fee for accepting package.

Actually, that depends on the resort. I've been told that the convention resorts - Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Contemporary - all use an outside service for delivery and that's who charges the $10. But, if you go do a non-convention resort (one that apparently doesn't have a convention center attached to it?), you don't get charged the fee.

Actually, No I have had water delivered twice. Once to The Poly and once to AKL. I was not charged any fee whatsoever for this. The last time was AKL in October.

Have you ever thought of carrying a Brita water filter with you instead of buying water? We bring a couple of empty bottles and refill them all trip long with the Brita. If I don't want to carry the entire unit, (the pitcher is quite fragile), just carry the filter and reservoir with a rubbermaid bottle to hold the filtered water. The top of the rubbermaid bottle needs to be wide enough to accept the filter. The smaller slim Brita pitchers that include one filter can cost under $10.

We like the idea of drinking water that hasn't been in a plastic bottle a long time. We save a lot of money on each trip and don't generate as much trash.

We never travel without it.

I've ordered water through Costco a couple of times and staples once. They did not charge me fees because I did not stay at a convention resort. It was quick and easy. The hotel delivered it to my room and I was ready to go. $8 for a case of water seems extreme at first but nothing compared to what you would spend in the parks. PLUS.. most of the parks only have Dasani (smart water is hard to find at the parks) and that upsets my stomach.

Smartwater is what I drink too. With the added electrolytes, I don't have to drink Gatorade for my low blood pressure. I'd love to get this shipped from Costco. We are members, and I have seen the cases in the store, but can't find it online. Where did you find it online at? Thanks!
