I called Disney and was told that you can add days to the 3 included on the So Cal city pass but they wouldn't tell me how much the upgrade would cost.

Has anyone added days to the City Pass and how much credit did you receive for the 3 days on the pass.

thanks

I've been asking the same question lately. I didn't get a definitive answer, but was told by a DIS member recently registered as "CityPASS" that the credit would be $186/adult, $165/child.

I think the cost to upgrade to a 4-day hopper would be $45. ($231 gate price minus the $186 credit)

If anybody knows otherwise, I would also be happy to hear about it! :)

This is often the case on discounted tickets Citypass and other wise. Take the online Disneyland price as the value of your ticket from the 3rd party, use that value as the credit toward the gate price of the ticket you want to upgrade it to.

FWIW.....CityPass on here follows the DIS guidelines and is a valid user name and poster. Also I live very close to the CityPASS headquarters and called to verify that the Citypass user here on the DIS is in fact a representative of thier marketing department.

I have no vested interest in Citypass and this is solely my opinion. Citypass is great, not for getting a huge discount, but for getting you to the top attractions in thier cities at good rates. Consider where you live if they have citypass, if you had relatives visiting and you wanted to show them the tourist things, I bet citypass has those activities covered.

Hi All,
ND Disney Daddy is correct - the CityPASS credit towards upgrades at Disneyland is $186 for adult (10+) and $165 for children (3-9). That's for 2011 and may change next year.
Thanks!

Is it too soon to know what the credit amount will be for adding DL days to your 2012 CityPASS?

Hi all,
The credit for the 2012 CityPASS towards an upgraded Disneyland ticket will be $214 for the adult CityPASS (ages 10+) and $198 for the child CityPASS (ages 3-9). Hope that helps.

I'll chime in AGAIN on CityPass - love it - great deal. Just be sure that if you want to start your visit in San Diego for example, that you buy from CityPass direct. We ran into this problem when I found a great deal on CityPass but you had to pick it up at the Disneyland ticket booth, and we were starting in San Diego.

If you buy from them directly, it is no problem. Also, I called SeaWorld, and they sell them at their gates, and if you go there first, you get a second day free. :cool1:( Please verify if you go this route - but that was what I was told when I called their phone rep)
