Cost of tolls in IL?

We will be driving from WI to WDW next month and I want to know that toll costs in Chicago. We will be on I-94, I-294, I-80 to I-57.

Using the links above, WI/IL entry on 84 and exit to 80 just after the 163rd St plaza, should be $2.35 with an IPass and $4.70 without.

Hi,

generally the toll cost range from .40 to 1.00. Some entrance and / or exit ramps, may require a .15 to .30 toll.

But with the route you will be traveling, i would suggest two rolls of each, quarters, dimes, and nickels.

By doing that, and without IPASS, you will be able to avoid the cash booths. Again, with the route you will be traveling, AVOID at all cost, the cash booths. Alot of truckers and "passer thru's" can really tie up the cash booths.

One more thing,

STAY OFF of the Dan Ryan. Make to you take 294 all the way to Indiana. BAD BAD BAD contruction delays on the Dan Ryan from Downtown Chicago all the way to the I-57 / Bishop Ford split around 95th Street.

Before the first toll in IL, get off on 41, which skirts on the otherside of Gurnee IL, it will eventually catch up to I94 and take you downtown Chicago. We pull our 44 ft trailer through to avoid the tolls. It does have stop/go lights for about 5 miles, but most are long green lites and you can sail through pretty easy. The only toll is the exchange from I94 to I80-Indiana gets you too.

You will run into road construction no matter what down by I94 and 80, even if you took the 294 around Chicago.

I just read in our local paper, 41 between Oshkosh and Fond du Lac starts road construction this week if you are coming that way. Otherwise you can save 20 minutes and come down 43, but then you have the hassle of construction in Milwaukee by the Marquette interchange.
