cost of taxi

What is the cost of a taxi from the airport (MCO) to Boardwalk?
There are just two of us, and I wondered if it would be cheaper than the 80-85 that the towncars charge.

However, would a taxi stop at the grocers and let us run in for five minutes?

I paid around $49 one way from CSR to MCO. So I think price wise you would be better off with a towncar.

i know my hometown & other cities Chambers of Commerce set certain rates for taxis from the airport to certain parts of town.

I was able to find out on the internet the exact rate from MIA to my hotel (South Beach area) this past july - so i already had the fare & tip ready to give to the driver when i got out @ the hotel!
