What is the cost of a taxi from LGB to DL?

I was quoted by Long Beach Cabs that the fare would be about $45 flat rate. But coming back would be metered. If you hit traffic that could really add up $$$$$. We went with a car service recommended by many Disers and I paid $48 flat both ways plus tip. Kim Sontha Trans 562-396-8106. I'm glad we did because we hit major traffic coming back and a cabs meter would just be ticking away

We flew into Long Beach last month. I was planning on taking a cab for $40 but a shuttle driver stopped me as we were walking to the cab location. It was $52 plus tip but we took it. I was alone with my 3 kids and we had plenty of room. DH paid $40 when he flew in 2 days later. We took a cab back from GCH. It was metered and was $55 for the 5 of us.
