Hi, hoping someone can assist please. I get that with a Wishes wedding there is the cost $175 etc for dinner, but are these a minimum? Ie do they go upwards - am I only getting a basic meal for this cost? Also does it include the bar package, or is this adiitional on top? Thanks!

$175/person over age 21 is the minimum amount you must spend on food, cake and drinks (combined) for your evening wedding reception. You can customize all three of these to keep the price at or close to $175, or you can go way over. But even at $175, you guests aren't going to be eating Beanee Weenees—Disney has lots of tasty options that will fit in your budget. Just let them know that's the number you want to stick to, and they can help you work with the chef to customize a menu.

Sorry, just another thought, I'm sure it's probably in your book which I've purchased (which is great by the way!), how many options can you give guests to choose from for the meals? Thanks!

Sorry, another question!! I know your dessert party can't be counted in the minimum food and beverage cost for the reception, however if I had a MK Train Station wedding and was required to have an additional $10,000 spend (to the cost of the ceremony), would the dessert party and hire fee of the venue count towards the minumum expenditure?

Any ideas if after 2015 there will be any other MK locations? (Loved Tatiana @ Thomas's pictures at MK).

For a plated meal? I suppose as many as you want, but it could get pretty complicated. Most brides who do this give just 2 or 3 choices and enclose a meal request card with the invite. Then they let their planners know how many people want each main course. A lot of brides go with buffets to offer more variety, and Disney's are classy, so you don't have to worry about a buffet being less impressive than a plated meal.

Only the reception food and beverage counts toward the food and beverage minimums, and only ceremony and reception enhancements count toward the enhancement minimum. The $10,000 for an MK ceremony is the ceremony fee (instead of the usual $3,500-$4,000), covering just things required for the ceremony. It does not apply to the food and beverage minimums or the enhancement minimum. The only way to have "dessert party" as we think of it (i.e., food in front of fireworks) that counts toward the food and beverage minimums and the enhancement would be to have your reception at one of those locations during the fireworks.
