She calmed down very quickly after seeing how Disney handled just the loading of the boat.

Absolutely. Our DD is an only child and my desire for her to be self sufficient and experience new things is COMPLETELY at odds with my desire to lock her in a room with guards outside.

We also don't live near family so we've been just the three of us for a very long time. I'm thinking now that it wasn't the trip when she was 7 it was when she was 5. I'll have to find pictures from that trip!

I had somehow never heard of these but it may be a perfect birthday surprise for our will-be 6 year old! Gives us time to spoil our younger son alone for a bit too! So glad you asked about it!!

My granddaughter did the kids only pirates cruise from the Grand Floridian when she was five and not quite my granddaughter at the time (her mother and my son became engaged on the trip). !

Does anyone know the days the pirate and pals firework cruise sails...specifically September...the website states that it doesn't sail on Wednesdays or Thursdays but I was hopefull because of MNSSHP this was inaccurate information
