Ok here's my problem...Am wondering about DDP versus OOP.
Travel Party: DS 13 DH and ME!

My boys have big appetites!!!!! They enjoy breakfsat CS and wehre they will have some egg or pancake or frenchtoast of course with a meat! Lunch they love the CS meals but they do like their snacks in the park. Dinner well they really loved with the old DDP having their appetizers, entrees and dessert! They also do like to squeeze in some bigger breakfast meals like Crystal Palace. The Deluxe plan is just tooooo much food! I cannot justify that cost and have no tip included.

I on the other hand am very satisfied with a piece of fruit and a yogurt or cereal. The Snack credits I normally would use a few for fruit for me and they would have the rest.

I am trying to learn how I would go about calculating the cost for our meals and then compare to the plans. I get the mugs when we are there also. I like to go once during our stay to Narcoosee's. My menfolk like LeCellier, COral Reef, O'Hana, WCC, sadly no Concourse anymore.

BTW what I loved about the plan before was there WAS NO MATH FOR ME (I HATE MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!):scared1:

SO any feedback, suggestions or what you did would help.:) :goodvibes

THanks!

The pp gave the best advice, that will give you the best answer for your family.

However, if you want to skip the math, the average person will spend $40 a day on a single TS meal and maybe a snack - so basically the CS would be 'free' in that case. This is what it works out to for us.

Since you have big eaters too (my travelmate eats like a linebacker) you may actually save a little more if they order the large-plate CS meals instead of, say, a burger and fries.

Also if they are happy with counter service for breakfast and lunch it would be much cheaper to go with basic and buy breakfast and an occasional splitable appetizer out of pocket vs moving up to DxDP
