Cost of Maid service?

I miss it, but I'm too cheap to pay for it. I like having clean towels and beds made by someone else every day on vacation (or when I travel for business) and I've almost never found maidservice to be inconvienent, I'm generally out of my room when they come.

Make sure you take a DCL trip. You get mouse-cleaning twice a day.

I generally like maid service...especially clean towels each day...and thought I might miss it as a DVC member, but I really don't. If it were offered for free I would not be in the group hanging the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, I would gladly welcome them in to change linens, replace towels and take away trash! But I really do not miss it much at all and therefore would never consider paying extra for these services!

I have found the trash room in every DVC resort we've stayed at so far (BLT, SSR, AKV, VB). Either they are easy to find, or I must have a knack for finding trash

I also thought I would miss the clean up service. We stay in studios and I really don't miss it at all. I do clean up each day, make the beds, pick up around. DH likes that no one is coming in our room and we feel that our electronics are safer.

I have called to get new sheets when DS was younger and had an accident and housekeeping was their quick with new sheets and plastic bag. I changed the sheets but they offered.
