Cost of Dining Plan

I just added the DXLDDP to our upcoming trip. I was charged over $90 per night, however I thought it was around 78.99 plus tax.
What is the cost per night?

78.99 no tax should be the right cost. I'd call back and have another CM double check. This $90 thing has been quoted a lot, but math has proven that it's only 78.99

funny- I just got off the phone w/ disney adding the deluxe plan, and was told DD was "a little less than $28 a night" and adults were "a little less than $78 a night" (exact words), but couldn't seem to get a direct price. I too have the same question - what is the ACTUAL price for the DxDP?

They can't give you exact prices as they simply don't really have that information. It's due to the way that Disney sells the packages. I don't agree with it, but that's what it is.

I did the math awhile back, across multiple different scenarios to make sure that the numbers added up.

You can view that thread for all the math behind it as well, it's pretty number heavy though.

Edit:
I also want to say that the OP may have been quoted at 90$ a night per person, but may not have actually been charged that. It would take a comparison between the same exact reservation with and without the dining plan to determine the actual upcharge.
