Cost of COVID test in US?

Has anyone paid to take a COVID test in the states before returning home? My husband has to travel for work and I'm trying to get a better understanding of the costs associated with the return. Of course, I know about the hotels/quarantines, but I'm not sure about the testing cost. Any experiences? Thanks!

My cousin in Vancouver crossed for an essential trip and needed to test before returning. Cost was US$100 and results took about 11 hours to obtain. He crossed at a land border, so did not need to do the hotel stay, just 14 days quarantine at home.

Just be careful as I saw medexpress had two prices one for rapid one for pcr and they sound reasonable but it small losing it says doesn’t include lab fees .. ( and that might be the bulk of the cost)

Completely depend on where you are I believe. Where I live it’s free to be tested, some friends just traveled to a different state and wanted to have their kids tested before they left so the kids could go back to school, cost there was $150 per test.

I believe you can. I think it is close to animal kingdom and there’s no cost. I had read that they provide both the rapid and pcr test.

The Maingate location is officially closed now. All tests around Disney will now cost you.

On the Air Canada website I was checking out their covid information and under where to get a test in Canada or the US they listed 4 sites where you could purchase tests before your trip and send them through fedex or ups and get the results back before flying back to Canada
