Cost for a balloon?

I've never bought balloons at Disney, only received them when I was a kid. I thought they would help when looking for our stroller though. So how much do they start at and how much to go up to?

Just want to be prepared...

I think they were about $5 in 2003 when we went. We put a small slit in them when we were getting ready to leave, packed them flat in our suitcase and my son now has it on his wall of his room.

But if you are staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge don't bother. They will not allow them to be brought into the resort. They 'check' them for you like a valet keeps the car.

If I remember correctly from September it was $6 for tinkerbell balloon and $9 for Mickey/Minnie balloon. They didn't have latex mickey ballons - wish they would bring them back!

Purchased the Mylar Mickey/Minnie 1 in October for $6 and a Princess (purple with gold petals - oval with princesses in middle for $8 - Pricey in my mind but we were there for 11 nights and only bought them on the last day as a *gasp* bribe to get our 2 kids to sit for there pictures to be drawn by 1 of the artists on Main Street. Worth every cent when I look at the pictures we got as souveniers.

Better yet, stick a straw up the opening of them and let the air out. That way you can reuse them. Your local Hallmark store or grocery store should be willing to fill them for a nominal fee.
