We are offering to take our neice along on our June trip and I just thought about the fact that she is 18 and the "child" price in a room is 17. How much extra will they charge for her to share our room? Is it consistant for all resorts or does it change? Will they add on the extra fee even if there are 4 in the room? Like 3 adults and 1 child? Thanks much!

More than 2 adults (18 and over) in a room and there is a $10 surcharge/night per additional adult. I believe it is the same over all resorts.

When we stayed at the BC Concierge with 3 adults & 1 child it was an additional $25 per day for the extra adult.

$10 for value, $15 for moderates, $25 for deluxe resorts for the extra person. You might want to wait until you get there to do this. Some have reported not being charged for the extra person.

Wait they consider 18+ an adult? Because my 16 year sister was counted as an adult on our reservation, and we are paying extra for her. I told the cm when i was reservering the room how old she was. They said oh shes considered an adult...is this correct?

At 16 she would have an adult ticket. Did you have a package where tickets are included? Otherwise the age for extra room charge is 18. On the WDW site the child ages go up to 17. Thanks for the prices everyone. One more thing to consider in our on-off site decision. Is it the same at the Swan? This trip is becoming difficult to plan!

No we didnt get a package, we booked room only. The ages are 50, 43, 16, and 7 and our resie says 3 adults and 1 child...??? Is this right?

I think I would call back and check on it because it does not seem correct to me. When I was on the official website to check prices the boxes for children went up to 17. It will be easier to fix now than at check in when so much else is going on and there is no reason for you to pay for an extra adult. Let us know what happens.

I believe a 16yo should be counted as a Junior on any room reservation. 18 and over are adults and because of this are charged as an extra adult.

I would definitely call back and ask, you may have gotten someone who is new and thought she/ he was telling you the correct thing. If you still get the same answer again, ask to speak with a supervisor and quote what it says on the official Disney Website. The information you were given isn't correct.

I would call back about the charge for the 16 year old. They had my 9 year old being charged an extra $25 a day at AKL! Funny thing...one twin was an adult, one a kid. Reminds of the perosn at Wal-Mart who said....."Oh TWINS, how cute! How old is this one.....Well how old is the other one?" Maybe that Wal-Mart lady moved to Florida!! :D

Just to add, it is $2 per night for extra adults at the campsites.

Just got back from AKL, DW, DD(23) DS (18), DD (16) and myself. We has 2 rooms and they assigned the other room to my oldest DD. Everyone else was assigned the first room with no additional charge for the 2 kids. They are junior guests, even though you need to buy an adult ticket for them.

I wanted to put all the kids (sorry, to me DS (23) is still MY kid) in one room and leave one for us adults. The CM thought that I wanted to leave the 2 youngest alone and would not give me keys for them without me assuring him that there would be one real adult with them.

I just called yesterday to reconfirm our upcoming ressies at the FW cabins. We have 2 adults, 2 juniors (13 and 17 years old), and 2 children (6 and 4 years old).

I would call and talk to someone else. I believe it states right on their website that under 18 is not an adult.

Let us know what they say.
