Does anyone know where to find a cat breakdown of the componets of your trip? I booked the MYW + FD and I checked my ressie on the WDW site and it says what's included and how many of each thing per person, but I was hoping to see the cost of each componet (tickets, room, tax, insurance.) anyone know where to look?

Thanks

It stinks...they don't do a cost breakdown...post your package, #of people and ages here....and I can break it down for you:)

You need the total ticket cost pp (including tax), the actual room cost (you can price online room only). This should be it. I have checked ours and everything worked out to the penny. Don't forget the sales tax since if you look up the ticket cost on WDW site sales tax is not included. Mousesavers. com lists all types of ticket costs with tax.

I've never seen anywhere that they break it down, but I was able to figure mine out by playing around with it a bit. Here's how I did it:
1. The easiest part is the tickets, so start here. Just go to the area where you can purchase them, plug in what you have, and look for the number that includes tax.

2. Next, figure out the dining plan. Tax is included there, so it's also easy b/c it's a flat rate per person, per night. If you got free dining, then just skip that part.

3. Subtract the first two from your total. You'll have the cost of your room with tax. The resort tax is 12.5 %, except for one of the All Stars (I can't remember which one it is, but I think it's 13% there b/c it's in a different county or something).

Thanks everyone :) I figured it out :) I forgot the tax...:rotfl::rolleyes:

You're welcome. The only time it didn't work out this way for me was last year's FD with DVisa. They gave the value rate for all days not just the value season days. Once I used that rate not a problem it proved to the numbers!!

I am having a hard time breaking my cost out. This is what I have:
Staying 10/17-10/24 = 7 nights
Resort: Carribean Beach
People: 2 Adults, 1 Jr. & 1 Child
Tickets: 7 day (not parkhoppers)
Food: Free
Cost: $2400.00

Doesn't this seem high? This is more than what I paid last year at the Coronodo with Free dining and we also had parkhoppers during that visit?

That seems about right, pricing mine out at POFQ is $2210 for 1 adult 2 kids (1 kid has to pay the room rate, so its like saying 2 adults 1 kid for the room, and 1 adult and 2 kid passes) so the difference is about the cost of the adult pass..... mind you wait. mine is for 8 days. So scratch that...yours seems a bit high. Make sure you aren't paying for a preferred room. sounds like you are

For a point of reference, if it helps:

2 adults, 1 teen
CBR - standard room
8/30 - 9/6 (7 nights, 8 days)
7 days' park tickets w/hopper (ph was an extra - $159.75)
Free dining
Total: $2198.90
