Cosmic Rays..is Sonny back on stage?

We were disappointed to find Sonny (alien entertainer) missing from the stage at Cosmic Rays in June. Is he back? We are headed for WDW 12/5 - 12/12 and just enjoy his 'act'. Would love to hear the latest about his location. Thanks.

He was not there in early September either, covered all over with a tarp...Seems so quiet in there without him..

My kids actually asked me about Sonny today. They're sad he's not around anymore. I heard he went down for rehab and never returned!
