Cosmic Rays Counter Service
Pros:
Lots of choices
Can sit by a window if available and look out at passer-bys
Cons:
Food is not that good, really
Place is very messy
Very noisy
Tables crammed very close together
I honestly did not want to dine here. I wanted to go to Columbia Harbour House. A friend decided to come along with us to WDW 44 days prior to arrival. She loves this place and in trying to accommodate her and make her a part of the planning, my sister and I decided we would dine here.
Though my comments on Pecos Bill were pretty negative, my dislike for Cosmic Rays is even greater.
We dined on the dining plan. My daughter ordered the kids chicken nuggets with fruit and I had a cheeseburger and fries. My sister ordered a cheeseburger with fries as well.
As with all of my counter service dealings, the drinks were watered down from sitting while the food was being put together.
The place was pretty busy. We waited for about 10 minutes between ordering and getting our food. The burgers were very dry and the fries were very salty. My daughter enjoyed her grapes, but said the chicken nuggets were not very good. I tried one and they were dry, like the burger.
We had desserts with it as part of the dining plan. We tried the chocolate cake and I think a cookie. The cookie was decent, but the chocolate cake was very very dry.
All of the food seemed old. This has always been my experience at Cosmic Ray's. I will not be dining here again when I go back to WDW unless it improves.
I give Cosmic Ray's a C- for an overall score.

Honestly, that is what I like about Disney - something for everybody. I have come to realize that I just do not like "fast food" or counter service in Disneyworld.
