If we need to do CS in MK,(DD doesnt do seafood so probably will skip CHH), which of cosmic ray or pecos bill would you recommend and why? thx

love both of them, i like the taco salads @ PB with the fixin bar, and i like the burgers @ CR, you can't go wrong with either.

Truthfully there is much more at CHH than just seafood.

At CHH they have a really good Fried Chicken Fingers

Pecos Bill really good taco salad or Cheeseburgers with the toppings bar

Cosmic Rays good ribs and roasted chicken

I would choose any of these to do a counter service at

I like the variety at CR. I am not a burger fan and prefer chicken or ribs.

My family likes Pecos Bill for the taco salad. But we also have some picky eaters in the family who like Cosmic Rays because there is more stuff there for them to choose. So if you want an awesome taco salad then go to Pecos Bill but if you want a variety of choices go to Cosmic Rays!

Yes. I totally agree with this.

Also, not sure how old your DD is, but IMO, Cosmic Ray's isn't the best if you have small kids, because the different kinds of food (burgers, chicken, uhh... whatever else) are separated in different "bays". So if you want the roast chicken meal, your husband wants a burger, and your kid wants a hot dog, they're all in different places. I know, it's crazy! Just an FYI

I personally prefer Cosmic Rays. It has a much bigger variety as far as the menu goes, and some of the meals give you a lot of food for your money (ribs, chicken, etc.) The downside is I find that it is usually more crowded (though we haven't had any issues finding a table so it isn't too bad).

When ever were at MK we always eat lunch a Pecos Bills, my kids love the toppings bar.

We really enjoyed our meals at Pecos Bills but found the restaurant to be very crowded and a challenge to find a table. We will go again but choose the timing a little better.

Hate to break it to you, but they no longer have the ribs & chicken at Cosmic Rays....don't shoot the messenger I have checked on the dining menus here on the DIS as well as the WDW menus and it isn't there anymore.
Some people recently returning have also reported this. We were soooo looking forward to trying it this trip....

Pecos Bill. We love the toppings bar and that is the side of the park we are on when it is lunch time just based on how we tour.

While both are good, we prefer Cosmic Rays. There's a lot of choices to please everyone, while Pecos Bill's menu is significantly smaller. Like a pp said, you may have to que up in different bays if people want to order different things (chicken bay, burger bay/sandwich wrap bay, etc.). We've never had to split up more than two different bays though so it wasn't a problem at all. Like Pecos Bills, there's also a topping bar at Cosmic Rays that is nice and fresh. Cosmic Rays also has an animatronic dinosaur that sings/has a skit that my girls looove. I tire of it, but they think it's a fun perk to have while eating so it just adds to the experience.
