For those of us scheduled to leave Port Canaveral on the Fantasy this Saturday, 5/14, you should know about two important events:
(1) SpaceX plans to launch a Starlink rocket (Falcon 9) at 4:38 Saturday afternoon. It should be visible from Port side and rear of the ship. The booster will be landing on a barge offshore, so we won't see that. Timing is about when we should be getting ready to leave the dock.
(2) Sunday night there will be a total lunar eclipse beginning about 10:25 PM and total beginning at about 11:30. Visible on the port side of the ship
Assuming weather and launch schedules hold up, this could be a trip for the ages.
