Have you ever really considered having work? I would love to have the twins lifted and maybe a little tummy tuck, but then I think nah.... But I see no difference than getting my hair colored, my teeth whitened blah blah blah.
So tell me have you? It will be our little secret ;)

Honestly, nope. But I'm a great big wus about everything. I couldn't fathom myself ever voluntarily going in to have surgery. It's an act of God just to get me in to have a shot or have blood taken for my physicals.

BUT - I don't see anythign wrong with it if it makes someone feel better about themselves, as long as it's not excessive or done to extremes.

Yep! I would do it in a heartbeat if I had the $$ :)

Just had botox for a problem with my eye spasming. It had gone on for 5 weeks. Insurance covered it since it was "medically necessary". Sure smoothed out the fine lines! LOL.
I would lift the twins and have the tummy done and lipo too! Mini face too.

I have, but unfortunatly insurance won't cover it. :( I want to have a stomach band more than anything. I have tried every diet known to man, as well as every exercise routine to come down the pike and I just cannot stick with it. Stomach banding is the only way I can possibly concieve of losing weight and losing it permanently.

Same here. I would love to put the girls back to where they were two babies ago. And my belly too. There is no amount of crunches that can take away that little flap from my c-section. I don't want to look different, I just want to look the way I use too.

Yes, actually I had a breast augmentation less than 2 weeks ago. Recovery has been great and it feels great to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see. (have been flat as a board, even after 3 kids) BTW,this is out of character for me. Those who know, wouldn't have guessed I would have plastic surgery, but I guess I figure if you're not happy with something and there is the option to fix it, why not?

::Yes:: i would love to get rid of this post baby body!!!

A lift for my gals would be great with a Tummy Tuck (i have that C-section shelf belly)

I did! I had a tummy tuck on April 7th and it was well worth every penny that I spent on it. I did it for me and I feel wonderful about myself. It was an expensive self esteem booster, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Id have breast implants if I could afford it, not huge ones though!!! I have seen the scar that a tummy tuck left on someone and it sort of put me off that.

As much as I would like to have new parts, I don't think I could submit to elective surgery. I have had enough necessary surgeries and I just don't think I could put myself "under" for my looks. But, yeah, there are some things I'd like fixed!

IMHO, there are big differences between the hair coloring/tooth whitening and cosmetic surgery. There are risks involved: possible infection, anesthesia reactions, etc. Maybe the "twins" won't be even; scarring, etc.

I would not have surgery just to make myself feel better. I've earned all my wrinkles, sagging parts, gray hair. I gladly accept them--they're me! :goodvibes JMHO

Oh yea...I want a nose job, facelift, breasts done, lasik for the eyes. Just don't have the $$$$$. Maybe one day.

Yes, I just had Rhinoplasty three weeks ago. I want to have a lift when I'm 40. Right now, I am watching "Plastic Surgery Nightmares" on E!. Scary show, glad I didn't see it before my surgery! But, as one doctor said, there are over 9 million surgeries performed a year, and there is only a very, very small percentage that goes wrong, those just get all the media attention.

I had BA over a year ago and I am SOOOOOO glad I did it. I was flat as a board all my life and getting more and more upset about it as time went by. I decided, at 40, I was not going to be buried a flat-chested woman - so I went for it.

It's the very best money I've ever spent. I don't give a rip what anyone else thinks about it either - when I look in the mirror, I like what I see. I can finally buy clothes that are fashionable (because I can hold them up). I didn't do it for anyone but myself - that's why I know it was the right decision.

Just be very careful about choosing a surgeon. I've seen horror stories, and getting the right one makes all the difference. :)

I would love to have a face lift. DH said, "anytime I want, go for it". Then one of DS's friends came over the other day and said, "Mrs. C, its a nice car but you really look to young to have a Cadillac". Its a CTS not a DTS. ;) I said, "Brendan, you are my new best friend"! :rotfl:

I know a few people who have had implants. One looks very good and natural, the other not so much. These look natural but only because they really sag. Its odd because she is so thin naturally, you would think she'd have the opposite problem.

For those of you considering a tummy tuck be very modest in your expectations. MY SIL had one, performed by one of the most reputable surgeons on the east coast, and frankly, she looks the same. She never looked any different afterwards and did not take steps to maintain it. (She was about 5' 8", 200 lbs pre surgery...I don't know what the ideal canidate is for a tummy tuck but she was really overweight and unfit, not just the unfortunate keeper of post pregnancy belly skin, although that is part of the problem.)

If I am ever unhappy with something that can't be changed through non-surgical means, I would have it corrected. I think plastic surgery is fine as long as you go into it with the right attitude and expectation.

I've thought about it... as a lot of other posters said, we want the pre-baby body back. I'm about 10# or so more than before my ds. That isn't a huge deal, but I'd like to lose that. I'd really like to have my girls back the way they were. I can't complain, I'm still a good "c" but I miss what I had. You get use to it... dh says no way I'm perfect the way I am and all I hear is "blah blah blah blah" you're only saying that b/c you're my husband and you don't want other guys looking at me. Maybe he's right, maybe he's not. I don't want attention from other guys, I just want my body back :)!! I think the thing that keeps me from it is worrying about finding the right Dr. Last night we had this discussion and he said fine, you have that done and I'm adding another 6" and I'll use it!!! :rotfl2: I think he's threatening me :)

Love the attitude. :thumbsup2 You are so right when you say do it for yourself.

Surgery is horrible.... I don't want to put myself through it unnecessarily. If I ever feel desperate for lipo or a tummy tuck, I"ll just go on a diet and exercise more. I'd consider veneers for my teeth, but I don't think that's really the same thing. ;)
