corporate preferred guest

I was recently upgraded to corporate preferred status. Spg told me this entitles me to late check out and upgraded room if available upon check in. I already have A category room with resort and cresent lake view. It states a deluxe balcony double.
I haven't heard of corporate preferred status on this board. Are there any other perks? She said I won't receive the new card for several weeks. Are club level rooms available with this view? I could use points to upgrade to cl if available. Otherwise, what kind of upgrade might be available upon check in? This is a teacher $129 rate. Thanks
