Just called to check on prices and I was surprised this one is more than the other mods. I just thought that pofq and POR would be more expensive bc they seem so popular on here! don't see much talk about CS!

Because CSR is a convention resort, it has more amenities than other mods - spa and gym, business class room options, suites, etc. This is why it charges a bit more. It also has the nicest pool and largest hot tub of any of the mods.

I think it depends on when you are going. CSR priced out almost the same as POR for when we are going in April.

We (DW and DS) think CSR is the best mod at WDW. From the pool to food court to amenities...

That said, we're doing POR (Which we like alot also) this time with the in-laws. My niece and nephews are finicky eaters and the food court at POR is a bit less adventurous than CSR, though very good also.

There is tons of talk about CSR on here. Just as much as any other resort.

We actually call it "deluxe lite"! We love CSR! It is a gorgeous moderate resort with deluxe amenities. We have stayed at POR and POFQ and CSR is definitely our mod of choice. POR would be second to it. The beds at CSR alone are worth it! They have high quality queen and king mattresses that gave me the best night's sleep ever!

It depends on your dates...maybe your dates fall when there is a big convention? I have priced CSR a couple of times and stayed there last year and did not find it to be more than other mods..

There is actually a wonderfully maintained CSR thread that gets a lot of responses and has wonderful info.

Many people also highly recommend CSR over the other mods, especially with older children and teenagers, because the amentities are a bit more in their age range.
