Coronado vs Caribbean

I have reservations at Business Class Coronado (rate discount) AND Pirate Theme Caribbean (dining plan).

I have two due to the special promotions that were offered during by time. They are within a few hundred of each other--so I am now needing to pick one and let go of the other reservation so another person can snag it up!

Which one though?

Important to us:
- Transportation convenience (we will use the buses to all the parks)
- Pool (we have kids)
- Rooms (are pirate rooms full and Coronado queen?)

Any other feedback to help us pick the best (for us) resort is helpful. I've read the FAQs for both resorts but sometimes a straight-on comparison helps!!!!

IMO, the Business Class rooms at CSR are the premier experience of the Mod resorts at WDW.

Bus transportation at CSR is the best at WDW.

Pool is great at both resorts. CBR is a little better for small kids and CSR is better for older kids.

I believe the Pirate beds are just full size and definately queen at CSR.

The room location of the BC rooms at CSR is the best room location of any Mod resort rooms. You also have access to the BC lounge.

The only thing that would sway me to CBR is if the kids are under 6. But keep in mind that the Pirate rooms are a decent walk to the main pool and food court.
BC rooms are a short 2 min walk to the pool or food court. Also 1-2 min walk to a quiet pool, laundry, and bus stop.

CSR. The pool is better, the food court is good, and the layout is much better and easier to navigate. The pirate beds are doubles and I've heard are not comfy, plus I think they are very far from the lobby and pool area.

Our experience with the buses wasn't great at either.

CSR. The pool theming at CBR is better, IMO, but the pool itself and the slide are much better at CSR. Busing is also better at CSR.

100% CSR Club Level. I did it last year and I loved it!!

Ooh you guys are making this hard. We picked CSR originally for all the reasons you have cited...than free dining came out

I'm ahead at CBR money wise with free dining but if a moderate room discount comes out as I suspect I should be even steven.

I may have to keep both reservations for another month. HA!

No way would I go with a Pirate room. Disney themed them as they are in the location of CBR that no one wants--the one farthest away from the feature pool and food court.

I wouldn't keep both reservations very long--Disney has on occasion cancelled double booked reservations. There is a small chance you could end up with neither.

Stick with CSR, its a much nicer resort and you will be very happy with the pool and dining options.
