Coronado vs. Caribbean

We have never stayed at CBR but came close this upcoming trip. Finally chose CSR for the pool, playground, food court (loved this!) and dual arcades. May help to note we have an 8 year old son. We also found the grounds to be very romantic at night with the lights across the water (view toward main buildings). After DS would go to sleep, DH and I would make a couple of rum and cokes and stand on the balcony overlooking the water. The gift shop even sold the rum. Wasn't that nice of them? :tilt:

I've never stayed at either, but I've been to both and walked all around. I've even eaten at the Pepper Market and got quick counter service at CBR. So, all things considered for me, I would pick CSR. I love the whole package!

hmm, haven't been to either, yet.

But when we went to make reservations for Sept. we were told that the pool was going to be closed for a good portion of this year at CBR, so we went with CSR.

I hope that helps with your decision.

Is that correct? I thought I read the ice machines were by the elevators, must have elevator at end of day! Anyone able to confirm this? Thanks!

POFQ and POR are not available for the dates that I might be going, otherwise I'd most likely choose POFQ.

Hmm, I like the idea of CSR having it's own set of buses, especially since the people I'm going to be meeting are not staying at the same resort, so quick transportation to the parks for meeting up with people would be nice.

Thanks again for everyone's advice!!
