Coronado Verse Caribbean help

[A whole new world]

I've stayed at Caribbean Beach a few times and really love it. At the moment prices with Disney are not available until mid August. This would mean i would miss out on the $300 gift voucher offer. We thought about going with Coronado instead. Has anyone stayed at both? How do they compare?

I will have a 2 year old with me next year. I'm not sure whether to book Coronado with Disney and get the $300 or to wait.

We have been to the caribbean beach resort twice and are booked in to Coronado Springs for our third visit there. Prefer the pool area at CSR, although we haven't been to CBR since the pool was altered. The pepper market suits our type of eating and i also find CSR more central. However they are just my opinion and i wouldn't want you to base any booking on them!! Both have got that "beachy" feel which my girls both like. A lovely memory of CBR is lying on a hammock watching the Epcot fireworks...it was our first time on-site and i thought it was wonderful. Personally i am a massive fan of staying on-site, i dont drive whilst in Florida, so the bus system is great and i always feel safe (i travel with my daughters but leave hubby at home)....dont think you can go far wrong no matter where you stay in Disney

I might give it a go then. I tried to read through the reviews on trip advisor but they were so mixed. There were bad was for Caribbean beach, and having stayed there i couldn't figure out why they were so negative. I'm a big fan of the Disney resorts. I too would never drive over there.

we stayed at csr for our wedding and didnt really like it

found it too big and not really disney. loved the peper market though

the setting was nice but didnt feel like disney to me

We've stayed at both and really enjoyed them equally. If they were the same deal and i had to chose I would pick CBR however a $300 gift voucher would easily sway it for me to chose CSR.

i like CS better than CB....

some people don't like the fact there are conventions at CS, but that doesn't bother me...
i like the pool at CS, and the slide and the dig area for kids...
definitely a fun place to stay...
and the $300 gift voucher is icing on the cake!!
