Staying for the first time in a few weeks. Any hints or tips?

Make it a point to walk around the lake one evening, after it is dark - it is gorgeous!!

If you get the chance, grab a drink at the poolside bar and slip into the hot tub.

Try the Wet Burrito at the PM, have a margarita and nachos while lounging at the pool. After taking that walk around the lake at night, visit the hot tub for a relaxing soak.

I agree with AirForceRocks. Definitely take a walk around the resort at night. It's very peaceful and romantic. Also, take a walk in the morning especially in the Ranchos section. The way the sun hits the rocks in that section is breathtaking. If you haven't already, check out Buzz2001's website. It's awesome.

Before I forget, be sure to feed the ducks. I did this almost every morning during my stay there in 2002. Don't be afraid, they don't bite. They'll eat right out of your hand. I have some great pics of this happening.
