Hi,

We are taking a trip to Orlando next week and I need some quick advice. We are staying at Cornado Springs for two nights. The first day we will drive from tampa and check-in and have dinner at Ohana's...have a ressie for 6:25pm. I am assuming we park on site but how do we get from CSR to Ohana's? Can we walk?

Also, the next morning to get from CSR to the Magic Kingdom...is there a monorail stop nearby?

We are taking our two girls (5, and 4)...can someone provide me with a link to the strategy to hit all the rides we want. I had one of those a couple of years ago.

Thanks so much!

There is only bus service from Coronado Springs to the Disney parks. You can take your own vehicle to the Transportation Ticket Center and either take the resort monorail to the Polynesian for 'Ohana or you can walk from the TTC there (it's not that far). If you take the bus, you'll get dropped off at the Magic Kingdom and then you can take the private boat launch to the GF and Poly or take the resort monorail to the Poly.

For the Magic Kingdom you would also need to take the bus. If you drive you will park at the TTC and then take the express monorail to the MK or the ferry boat over.

The bus from CSR to the MK is about 20 minutes.

If you have a car, I would just drive to the Poly. If you don't want to drive, take the first bus to one of the parks and then transfer to a Poly bus or monorail at MK. Another option is to take a cab.

Also, the next morning to get from CSR to the Magic Kingdom...is there a monorail stop nearby? Just go to the bus stop closest to your building and take the MK bus. They start early. It's about a 10 min ride.

If one has a car, we would drive in both instances. As a resort guest, your parking is free at the Poly and MK. For dinner, you will receive a parking pass for the Poly for a few hours; the self-parking lot is very close to the Resort.

I would suggest the UNOFFICIAL GUIDE BOOK (you can buy this for roughly $20 at your local book store) or TOUR GUIDE MIKE (I am sure you can find the link to the website at the top of one of the boards...think it is roughly about $20 too.) Both will give you great tips and ideas on how to do it all in your time frame!

I wouldn't drive to MK even if I had a car. You don't get to park there, you have to park at the TTC and then take the monorail. The bus drops you off right in front of the gate.

Ok, so we can drive ourselves to dinner at the Poly (Ohana) from CSR the first night and then in the morning we can take the MK bus from CSR to MK. Thanks! Also, I thought there was a link to a plan that I didn't have to shell out $20 bucks for...am i wrong? Maybe I should go dig thru out stuff from the trip last year.

Thanks,
Jenn

You could drive yourself to Poly but unless you are use to the roads I would probably just take the buses...as stated above you can take the bus to MK then from MK take the monorail over to Poly.
Personally I don't so much as see my car once we check in...I park it and only take Disney transportation until I check back out.

The merits of Disney transportation versus your own car are often debated on these boards. Search for one and read through. Our preference is the flexibility of driving our own car everywhere we go.

If you are staying on-site, you do not have to pay parking at the parks. Show them your key at the parking gate and they will let you right through.
