We have booked our first stay at Coronado Springs for a December trip. Which building sections are those located? Is there 1 bus stop to the parks like AoA? Thank you!

Preferred are in Casitas 1, 2 and 3.

Business Class is in 9B.

Standard rooms are pretty much located everywhere else.

There are 4 bus stops.

PP has it covered. Only thing I'll add is that if you prefer Casitas, Cabanas, or Ranchos, you can request a section. Not guaranteed since it's only a request. We requested "Casitas or near El Centro" when we had a standard room booked, and they were not able to put us in Casitas due to a convention that had the whole section blocked, but they put is in Cabanas 9A which was the next best option.

CSR is my favorite mod resort! I have been many times. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know!

In a standard room, I request Cabanas area, building 8A. Very close to Dig Site (main pool) and bus stop 4. If you prefer to be closer to El Centro (main lobby), then I would request Casitas area, building 4 which is close to bus stop 2. In a preferred room, I request Casitas, building 2 or 3. Close to bus stop 2 and El Centro.

The park buses pick up and drop off in this order stops: 2, 3, 4, 1. Disney Springs buses pick up and drop off in this order stops: 1, 2, 3, 4. You can also take the buses to get around the resort. Board any park bus at your building to get to the front, bus stop 1 (EL Centro). Board any Disney Springs bus at bus stop 1 to get back to your building.

We have requested Cabana's building 8B, ground floor close to smoking area. Touring plans has some rooms listed as standard that appear to be water view to me. I have put in some rooms like the ones we would like in the room request thing they have where they will send a fax for us. I am little nervous about this wondering what your experience with requests has been other than the above. Ever had a request and got exactly what you asked for?

The more generic and broad your request is, the higher the chance of your request being granted. Decide what's most important and make that your request. If it's ground floor, I'd request "Ground floor, Cabanas if possible". If it's being in Cabanas 8B, I'd request "Cabanas 8B, ground floor if possible". If you have a specific request or even specific room numbers, it limits the options CMs have when assigning rooms and you may end up with something opposite of what you want if they don't have wiggle room with your request.

In addition to faxing, also make sure you call and have it noted on your reservation. You can also complete online check-in which will give you another opportunity to check boxes of generic room requests, and give you the option to select that you'd rather wait for a room that has your requests than one that is ready when you arrive.

Yes, I have gotten the exact room that I have requested. I use touring plans too and use their fax service. We have picked the room we want and have gotten that a few times. Sometimes it's more of the general area and that's ok too. Out of the 5 times we have stayed at CSR, I have gotten my exact room 3 times. The other times, the rooms have been in the same area. Like, this past trip, I requested, Cabanas, building 8A, ground floor, room 8102. I got Cabanas building 8A, room 8202. It was fine, they were so awesome to get it so close, we didn't mind being on the second floor. When we were feeling lazy, we just took the elevator, lol!!

I liked the theme in the Ranchos section.
We love the Ranchos section too. Everyone seems to like the Cabanas or Casitas sections because they are closer to El Centro. We loved the Ranchos theme the best and we were really close to the pool and bus stop. We will always request to be back in the Ranchos section.

Truth be told we are really open to any area, since we are driving we have very little concern about how far from main building. I am not counting on the request at all but it would be bonus magic :tinker:

We stayed Casitas 4 (preferred had no availability). Loved the location. Had a parking lot view but the room was really quiet (could sometimes hear the bus if it was loading a scooter) and we were't far from the bus stop. Loved the "feel" of that section. Walked through the Cabanas and Ranchos areas. I think we would like the Cabanas but would need to actually stay in Ranchos to see if we'd like it.

Can anyone tell me what buildings house the standard rooms? Since there are 4 bus stops are the standard rooms still relatively close to a bus stop?

Thanks!

Casitas 4 and 5, Ranchos and Cabanas buildings all house standard rooms. Casitas 1,2 and 3 are preferred rooms/suites and the GDT has the tower and CL rooms. Standard rooms can be just as close to a bus stop as water view, preferred or even tower rooms. There are four bus stops around the resort. You can always request a room near a bus stop, if it is important to you, but no rooms are really far away from one. Bus stop number two has historically been the first pick up and drop off at the resort, so Casitas 4 or 5 would be a good request if you want to be near that one.

Good luck!
