Where is a good place/building to request?

I would like to be close to a bus stop, and not TOO far from the pool.

I don't mind a little walk, but nothing more then say 7-10 minutes for the pool. A little closer to a bus stop.

Also do they just have ONE pool? Or are there "quiet pools" around the resort!

Thanks!

Ranchos and cabanas are close to the main pool. Cabanas are close to the main pool and main building. Each section has its own bus stop so there never is a far walk to a bus stop. CSR has the main pool and 3 quiet pools, one in each section.

I would suggest you pose these questions to Buzz. He maintains a wonderful Coronado Springs thread and has a wealth of knowledge on the Coronado.

We stayed in the Ranchos.. I think it was bldg 7A or 7B-- literally 20 steps from the bus stop and about 4 min walk to main pool and less than that to the quiet pool.. I think it was bus stop #3- we had corner room on back side of building by the parking lot.. Great location for getting around..

Also, use the buses to go to the front.. any of them will take you to main lobby bldg and restraunts

At CSR, the four Cabanas buildings are very close to the main pool and are also very beautiful. Cabanas 8A, where we stayed, is closest to the pool and less than a five minute walk to bus stop 4. But Cabanas 8B and 9B are even closer to bus stop 4, and less than a five minute walk to the main pool. The Cabanas quiet pool (and the Cabanas laundry room) is closest to Cabanas 9B.

Picture is of Cabanas 8A, taken from the steps to the main pool.

Cabans 8A or 8B - Just stayed in 8B in December - Close to main pool - quite pool - bus stop 4- nice walk to main building and if you don't want to walk - hop on bus and it's last stop before leaving for the parks is at the main building. Enjoy!

Aloha,

Recommend Bldg 9B. Next to Bus Stop #1, Pepper Market and the bridge to the Dig Site (playground and pool).

We've stayed in Casitas 1 (1276) and Cabanas 8b (8972) and preferred Casitas:thumbsup2 .

Very short walk to Pepper market, bus stop #1 and just around the lake (+-10 mins to the main pool) Also a quick walk to the spa! We also enjoyed the theme of Casitas more, nice fountains, beautiful landscaping and it was very nice for evening walks through the Casitas buildings (it felt like a Mexican village)

Cabanas was 1 min. to the main pool, 2 mins from bus stop #4 and close to Pepper Market but.... our room wasn't the best (strange odor) and it was all the way in the back, second floor facing the parking lot:sad2:

We like Cabana 8B. Close to bus stop 4, the main pool & the Cabanas quiet pool. Several hammocks on the beach to relax on.

I completely agree with all the info about the Cabanas. We have also stayed in Casitas4. Which has the quiet pool and a bus stop directly behind.

We had a great room in Casitas4 that was on the second floor behind the elevator. We were in this little alcove with only 3 rooms. It was VERY quiet and we were able to leave the curtains open.

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge (most convenient location and most preferred).

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building (closest to the main pool).

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.
