Wow, the junior suite looks awesome! Does anyone know where to find the pricing for this?

http://www.mousesavers.com/moderateresorts2010.html#csr

The junior suite is more than two standard rooms (for comparison, a standard room in value season is $154 weekday, while a junior suite in value season is $350 weekday - both are rack rates). It might be worth the cost difference if you are travelling with kids and want to guarantee you will all be together. Junior suites either have two queens and a pullout (sleeping six) or a king and a pullout (sleeping four). Two standard rooms would give you four queens, sleeping eight. But it would be nice to have the extra floor space if you have small kids (strollers and pack n plays) or if you want to ensure you have connecting rooms.

I was just talking to one of my friends who is staying at CSR in a month (this will be their 4th stay there and the ones who told us how great it was before we decided to where to stay!) and she was telling me about renting one of those big wagon type bikes to ride around the lake. Where do you find info on what you can rent/do around the resort? We were going to do waterparks but I think we are just going to hang around CSR instead so we have more time to enjoy it so I wanted info on what we can do and prices.

Could someone please tell me the bus order? Which bus stop is first, second, etc. I noticed that on the map there are 5 bus stops listed. We are hoping for a cabana room. Are the buses filled by the time it gets to the last stop?? (We are planning on going at the beginning of May)

Thanks for all the help! This is our first trip to the World!:banana::banana:

There are 4 bus stops.

To/from the parks: #2 (Casitas), #3 (Ranchos), #4 (Cabanas), #1 (El Centro).

To/from DTD: #1 (El Centro), #2 (Casitas), #3 (Ranchos), #4 (Cabanas).

We were at CSR in January 2009 and only had full buses returning from the parks at closing. Other than that, never had a problem.

When we were there in May, in one instance of our trip the bus was full by the time it got to the last stop. It was for an emh for the Magic Kingdom. We were waiting and waiting and they let us know what was going on. I believe we waited about 35 mts. that morning. We did miss rope drop by about 10 mts. After that we didn't use the last stop in the morning any more just in case.

2011 rates are out!!!! We just booked March 5-12!!!! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!!

Hi,
How did you book - and did you book room and package? When I enter Feb 2011 dates on Disney's site it says they are only booking up to Dec 31st. Did you by chance just book room only based on 2010 rates? Just checking as usually they don't release rates until Aug or Sept.
Thanks, and good for you too ! :goodvibes

I saw the convention list at the beginning of this thread and was wondering if anyone has an updates to it or if you think it is pretty accurate?

We will be there in September and I'm really liking the way the list looks right now.

Poor baby!:rotfl::rotfl: Glad both of you are feeling better.

Thanks, Aubriee.

Now that means he's feeling better! Glad to hear it!

Oh yeah, he's feeling better. He went out again yesterday, gave the dog a hair cut today and is going back to work tomorrow as am I.

Joining in on this thread. We are planning on staying at CSR the first week of December. We have stayed here once before but it was waaay back in 2003. Since then we have stayed at a few other resorts, my fav being WL. However this year we are trying to cut costs so decided to go with a Mod..While I am a little nervous about staying here this thread has definitly helped with my anxity. I was not sure what to expect since they had done renovations recently. Also when we were here last time we were assigned rooms in the Rancho buildings and I felt that it was waaay far from ElCentro. I think I may request a Castia room this time. :)
Thanks for all the wonderful information.
~Farrah

Welcome home, Farrah. Glad to hear that you are going back to CSR. Casitas 4 and 5 are our favorites.

UGH I have been trying to do online check-in since last night but keep getting this message.

Thank you for your interest in My Disney Vacation. With apologies for any inconvenience, this section of Disneyworld.com is currently unavailable as we make updates. Please check back later or call 407-939-7675 for further assistance.

I want to check-in already people!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Were you ever able to do the online check in?

There is no price list that I have. All I can tell you is that this is a "seasonable" thing, but we have yet to figure out what "seasonable" is in their eyes.

The list is as updated as it can be with the info that I have found or that was sent to us. So keep your fingers crossed it stays that way. I can atell you every trip we've had one or two conventions goihng on while we were there and we never had a problem.

We are going to be at CSR again August 7-11. Any chance the marina will be open then ? My sister'd like to rent a sea racer and it's one place you don't need to have a driver's license to do that.

Can't wait to be back ! We didn't even put room requests this time, we've tried the three areas and like them all, it'll be a surprise.

I posted a thread on this but I was wondering if the resort does anything to celebrate birthdays? We're celebrating our 2nd child's 4th birthday. I thought if not I could bring something special along and then put it out after she went to bed :rolleyes1.

Can't wait to hear how everyone's stays are going...we check-in in less than a month now. I think we would prefer the cabanas, but honestly...room requests for me are like the kiss of death...we never get anything assigned that's even remotely close to what we wanted. Shouldn't be a problem though because I'm sure every section is enjoyable. :cloud9:

I am hoping to use the marina in October...but not counting on it. DH wants to golf once while we are there, so I am trying to think of things I can do with the kids by myself for a few hours. Also considering putt-putt as a back up plan.

You have to call. You have two choices. You can either book a room only ressie if you don't plan to do tickets or dining through Disney, or you can book a basic package. Ticket and dining rates aren't out yet so you cannot book them, but if you book a basic package you can add them later. A room only ressie would have to be canceled and rebooked to add them. A basic package would be a $200 deposit, and a room only will be a single night, plus tax. I didn't have any idea a basic package existed until I called to check the rates.

Does anyone know how the water slide compares to the one at Port Orleans French Quarter. Last year my son went down the one at CBR and it was too deep for him. He could do the slide at French Quarter. I tried looking at the sign photos and it looks like the depths are similar. The CBR doesn't have a slide sign that I can find anywhere but I'm looking at the pool and it seems that the number on the side of the pool is deeper.

:rotfl: That's so funny. It's true for me too. I could request every part but one and I'd get that part. Then, on the other hand, 5 other people could request one very specific thing and get it. Oh well!:rolleyes2

another question...does anyone know where we can make an Itinerary for our trip to disney in a month....my wife likes to be prepared....
