Hi there,

My fiancee and I are planning a honeymoon to WDW in October. We've narrowed it down to Coronado Springs or POFQ. Any suggestions? He has never been there and I've only stayed at ASMO in the past.

THANKS! ;)

I haven't stayed in either but if I was choosing I'd go with POFQ - I love the fac that you can get a boat to DTD. Also having visited both I would say that POFQ hold smore romance and is far prettier on the eye than CS - this is just my opinion.

I agree with Fantasia Sam :) While CS is nice, the desert atmospehere just doesn't do it for me (although I do like the pool). Overall, I think POFQ has a more romatic feel to it, which I would perfer on my honeymoon! ;)

The pool area in the evening is REALLY nicely lit and VERY ROMANTIC. CS, however, seems to be a location that is used for business meetings, conventions, etc., so it can be busy at times. POFQ is very beautiful, but very busy, kids and the like. I guess October might be better. I think we stayed there in November and it was a little quieter! Good luck!princess:

For overall romance i'd go with POFQ, I stayed there last April and it was real nice. We might stay there this summer.
Coronado has the best pool of all the moderates.

My vote is also for POFQ, and don't forget about POR just across from it. If you can make the short trip to POR you can have a horse drawn carriage ride with your honey!

We stayed at CSR and loved it (going back there in May :D ) We liked the fact that it was a convention resort and therefore, mostly adults with very few kids around. Also, we think the theming is beautiful. I stayed at Dixie Landings back in...hm, 1994? and it was nice, but I prefer CSR. Different strokes for different folks I guess!

Thanks everyone for your advice! We're going to have a hard time narrowing it down! I also thought CBR might be fun but I've read so much about how huge that one is, I'm not sure it's the most ideal for a honeymoon??

I stayed at CBR back im '91 and decided never to stay there again. Every night we came back from the parks, we got lost and couldn't find our room (so embarrassing:o ) Plus we had to take the bus just to get to the food court (we werent near there) Next visit we stayed at POFQ and have been hooked ever since. :D
