This was first time stay for myself and hubby (no kids on this trip) and this was a very nice resort. We were celebrating our anniversary and this was a nice place for it. I used the on-line check-in service which was super easy and all of my things were in the folder waiting for me. I will say one thing I noticed was folks using these lines who didn't check-in on-line so that did cause me to wait about 5 min. more than I expected (I know because of overhearing the conversations). The lobby was beautiful and CM's here very friendly. Our room was in Casitas 5.

Casitas 5 is near Bus Stop 2 (the first pick-up) and kinda away from both the Dig Pool and Food Court. There is a quiet pool in this area which was nice and I did enjoy the walk over to the Dig to see what the other areas of the resort looked like. The landscaping at this resort is beautiful! Our room was on the ground floor, a king-size bed that was so comfy! The room decor and upgrades are fantastic and I enjoyed it. I like having a small fridge at mod resort and the A/C unit was nice an quiet too. The TV was awesome and I loved the sliding doors to seperate the room from the bathroom.

One thing I must note though, I did not enjoy being on ground floor. The noise at early hours is unpleasant, 5am span. We could hear sprinkers turning on, maid carts rolling over us, and even folks using the bathroom above us (and I don't mean just the flushing part either). It may sound like an odd request but from now on I would want a top floor room! And I read a comment about the pillows somwhere on this board that I have to agree with, they are VERY soft and great for lounging but for side sleepers too soft. I wish I had brought my home pillow.

Overall, the stay was great and I enjoyed this resort so much. Thanks to all who post in the Coronado Springs thread in the discussion board, it made me able to be prepared for what to expect here and enjoy our trip. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the report. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at CSR. Casitas 5 (along with 4) are our favorite buildings.

Yes thanks, I am looking forward to our trip in Sept and the Casitas are on our request................
