Coronado help needed!

We are staying at the CSR for the first time (it was the only resort they had left for our dates) and need help requesting a building. We probably won't swim so I guess the most important thing would be to be near the food and the bus stop. Any advice??

I will be there the first week of January. It is my first time there too. I read that the Casitas were close to the lobby, bus stop etc. Anyone out there know for sure?

Probably the Casita section would be most convient. The bus service is good everywhere. There is one building in the cabana section that is close to el centro. Check the map on this site

I hope you enjoy you're stay at CSR. DH and I stayed there for the first time too this September. We were initially placed in the Ranchos building 6A ( I think ) with a great lake view but the room had a real smell of smoke despite being non smoking. We stuck it 1 night and then the fromt desk kindly trasferred us to Casitas building 1. We were close to El Centro and the main bus stop - only a couple of minutes stroll. It was a bit of a hike to the Dig Site but we thought the resort was just lovely to wander round any so didn't find this a problem. The Cabanas would also be a good choice - they're to the right of El Centro and are closer to the main pool. Each area has it's own bus stop though so I guess it's down to personal choice. Casitas have got lovely courtyards and fountains and Cabanas are more Caribbean in feel - have a great time. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I have stayed in the Casitas twice and they are in a nice position - close to El Centro and in between the main bus stop and bus stop number 2. Casitas 1, 2, and 3 are closest (I think) but it is a hike to the Dig site - for an alternative, walk on over to the quiet pool!

we stayed in cabanas 8b last month and loved it!

Casitas 1 is the closest to El Centro and Bus Stop #1. I got to stay there in 2002 and loved it.

If you want to be close to El Centro, casitas 1 or cabanas 9B are the closest buildings on either side and are each close to a bus stop. we stayed in cabanas 8A last year and loved it. this resort is probably our favorite disney moderate; possibly the best pool at disney and the food court is pretty good.

For a great view, request Cabanas 8B, second floor, lake view. Bus stop # 3? is right around the corner.

when I visited Coronado, Casistas were right next to El Centro, very convenient.

p.s. my April trip is in the "planning stages" also!! we just decided last week to go straight to WDW from Vegas!

We were in Cabanas 9B and we loved it! Perfect location, close to everything: main bus stop, food court, Dig Site pool area etc. The beachy theme with the hammocks around the lake were beautiful!

Erika,

Even if you don't go in the pool, be sure to take a walk (or get a bike) and go all over the resort. This place is gorgeous!
