Anyone ever have their child on Coromega product (essential fatty acids?) Did it work? My son's neurologist recommened it, and I'm just curious what others thought of the results, if any...

I definitely think it's great for any and all kids to be on an omega supplement. It's so important for cognitive health and development. It's also great for helping them to focus and sustain their attention. The Coromega products are great because they are really easy to get kids to take because they taste good. They also don't have any of those "fish burbs" that many fish oil supplements have. They are great for adults as well, so the whole family can take it. I don't know how easy they are to find...I haven't noticed if you can get them easily at drugstores or not. I get mine online where I get all my supplements because I find I save a lot that way (seacoastvitamins.com).

My sons doctor told us to give that to our son along wiht a B6 suppliment and it seems to work well. My son has epilepsy and the medication caused side effects that he doctor said the supplement would help. I have seen a change ( for the good). I think that you will be happy with the result.

is it okay to give fish oil to children even if they're healthy? my cousin's giving maxalife omega 3 fish oil to my 6 year old nephew. i'm not sure if it's okay. besides it doesn't taste like fish at all so it's still pleasing to taste.

My dd used to take the coromega orange chocolate squeeze package. I thought it was helpful but we also noticed that dd was losing hair (she has a history of alopecia areata) and when we stopped the hair grew back. It was probably a coincidence but not one we were willing to keep trying.

Coromega is good but my son's autism doctor (as most who specialize in autism do) recommend a much higher dosage than Coromega can offer.

We use Carlson's orange flavored fish oil. My son asks for it. I put a tsp in an oral syringe and leave it on the counter next to his other supplements and the first thing he goes for is that syringe and sucks it down.

If you use Coromega, Amazon has GREAT prices on it, even better if you subscribe COROMEGA AT AMAZON
