Corn Rash???

My dd is working in the corn fields this summer and has a bad case of what we were told is corn rash. How do we treat it? I am pulling her from the fields because it is that bad. She took a day off but got home today and can not hardly move. It is on her face, neck, lower arms, lower legs.

I do not know for sure. It is awful looking red and little blisters. I think it is a combination of heat rash and the abrasive corn leaves. I just know it is causing a lot of pain and her legs are bleeding from it. She does where long sleeves and pants but one day her sleeves wouldn't stay down and I think she wore capri pants one day.

I don't know how old she is but a shot of whiskey might help too.

I agree with Evil Genius on all points!!

My oldest is allergic to hay,corn stalks. If we know she is going to be around those things we benadryl before, during and after. You can also use Aveeno oatmeal lotion.

It's such an odd looking rash!!
