Corl Reef lunch menu question

Has anyone been to Coral Reef for lunch recently? Is the blackened catfish still on the menu at lunch time? I was looking at menus on Allearsnet.com and noticed that it is not on the dinner menu anymore (menu was dated 6/10). The lunch menu was dated as 9/09, so I am not sure if it is the most recent. My DS is so looking forward to the catfish (in 2 weeks!).

The catfish was removed last year sometime from both menus. It was removed after September because I had it in September.

When we dined there in January our server, a very nice man named Tim, told us that Chef Marco took the catfish off the menu without any real explanation, but that he suspected that it had to do with Epcot removing catfish from their tanks. They're now farming Tilapia instead. He thought that Chef Marco was dissatisfied with the catfish he was able to procure from other sources, but that the dish might be brought back seasonally in the future. I haven't heard of it returning since then, however.

Bummer! My DS loved it! You generally don't find catfish in the Boston area and he looked forward to getting every summer in Disney. I guess I better tell him now! Thanks for letting me know.

Wow--no catfish in Boston? You learn something new everyday! Where we live catfish is year-round Heck, there's some in the creek less than two blocks away
