How hard is it to get seating by the glass for Coral Reef? Do you just ask when you get there or do you call ahead? Can you still see the glass from everywhere in the restaurant? We do have a large party (10) so I suppose that makes a difference. My daughter is a big aquarium fan and I want to try and make it extra special for her.

Thanks!

Chances are not good. The tables by the tank are 2 top and 4 top (mostly 4 top). There are no tables next to the tank to fit a party that size.

Also on the first tier (not right up against the tanks) are booths that seat 5.

We were seated 2nd tier at a booth for 5 and an adjoining table for 6 when we went earlier this year with a party of 11.

The views are very good except for the very very back tables on the 3rd tier. From there, not so great. I personally don't like the tables right up against the tank because you are so close you can't see much.

You can make requests when you check in but you should know that Coral Reef is notorious for seating way behind schedule and your request could add even more time to your wait.

I think at most locations in the restaurant you have a good view of the aquarium. We have sat on the 1st tier both times we went. But they do run behind in their reservations. If you are going to make a request, show up early and expect to wait.

The last time we were there we were on the 3rd tier on the end and still had an excellent view of the tank. I've heard that the tables right next to the tank often get visitor children from other tables - I don't think I would like that. We are going to be eating there on 11/29.

We prefer second or third tier in a booth, so we can all face the aquarium :goodvibes

We checked in 15 minutes early as suggested, I requested a table without an obstructed view (we had our 7 & 10 year-old granddaughters with us.) Right on time for our ADR we were taken to a 4 top by the aquarium. No children from other tables bothered us and we had a delightful dinner.

We requested when we made the reservations AND when we got there. It was our "nemo obsessed" son's birthday dinner AND my birthday dinner. We got a 4 top on the glass. We had no problems from other children. One of the divers would come by and interact with our son! He loved it!!!
