Coral Reef restaurant to Illuminations Cruise????

Since we have never been to Disney before... I have no idea where anything is!! Could someone please let me know about how long it would take me to get myself and DS 10 and DD 7 to the area for the illuminations cruise after our dinner at Coral Reef? We were lucky enough to find someone to share a cruise with and I need to change my ADR to earlier (if I still can get a spot).

Also, can anyone tell me where I actually have to go to catch the cruise? Thanks for your help!! You guess are the best!

It is just about as far as you can get, while still having dinner at Epcot. Maybe a 25 minute walk? You have to walk all the way through the west side of FutureWorld, and then 1/3 of the way around the World Showcase, and then another 5-10 minutes to the dock.

You will need to go to the YC marina to catch the cruise. the marina is at the far end of the YC.

As you leave the IG, walk past the BC, and to the end of the YC. You will pass the dock where the Friendship boats dock (where the lighthouse is).

okay, I was able to change my reservations to 4pm so we can catch the cruise at 8.... Now, what in the world is IG, BC, and YC? I have never been to WDW, and this is definately a foreign language to me...

Here is a list of abbreviations.

IG - International Gateway (it is the back entrance to Epcot between United Kingdom and France, nearer to the United Kingdom )

BC - Beach Club Resort
YC - Yacht Club Resort
