Coral Reef or Le Cellier

Please help me decide between Le Cellier and Coral Reef for lunch at Epcot!

Nothing beats the food at Le Cellier. The setting is neat, kinda like a wine seller.


However, I had the absolute best Catfish ever at Coral. If you like spicey, non-fishy tasting food, this is the meal for you!


The big aquarium with people and fish, sharks is really cool. I'd say this setting is better than Le Cellier.

I'll second the Coral Reef ressie. The food is delicious and the wall tank is so neat! We had 6 adults on our last trip here and we all loved our dishes. We'll definately go back!

Has anyone done Coral Reef with the processional? Does it work well with that? Thanks.

First off, I've never done lunch at either place so my opinions are based solely on dinner.

Atmosphere: CR gets the nod, despite the out of control, screaming, running around children we experience the last time there. LC is somewhat cramped and no where as awesome as the giant viewing window into the reef.

Appetizers: LC. The beer cheese soup and the bread products were frankly amazing and rank in our top 3 starters in all of WDW.

Entrees: CR. Neither my wife nor I found the steaks at LC to be that good. The wife had a better chunk of meat at CR our last time while the aforementioned catfish dish is excellent.

Dessert: Wash. Both have decent offerings, neither of which are amazing to our palates.

Other: LC has Unibroue beers which I find really tasty.

My vote goes to Coral Reef. Good food and an awesome Aquarium.

These 2 places don't even compare in my opinion, from my experiences.

Coral Reef - My girlfriend had a chicken ceasar salad. It was a breast of chicken, uncut, on top of 2 large leafs of lettuce. I had the lobster ravioli's they were ok. We sat right next to the tank which was very cool. Coral Reef definitely wins in terms of atmospher.

LeCellier - I had the Filet Mignon with cream cheese mashed potatoes. One of the single best meals I have had in disney. Girlfriend had the dumplings and liked them. We also had the cheddar cheese soup which was good.


Overall : If you want a bit more less expensive meal with good atmostphere and average food. Go with Coral Reef. If you're willing to spend a few extra bucks and aren't worried about the atmosphere. Definitely go with LeCellier, it's one of my favorite for sure.
